HISTORY
OF SPRING FEVER
In November of 2000, a small committee of Bloom ‘n Grow
Garden Society members met to “brain storm” ideas
for a fund raising event. Helen Kennedy, a member of this
committee, proposed the idea of a garden festival. On March
31, 2001, Bloom ‘n Grow Garden Society presented their
first “Spring Fever in the Garden”. The City of
Winter Garden agreed to co-sponsor the festival that year
and the partnership has grown favorably into an event that
takes place each Spring in the beautiful historic downtown
Winter Garden.
Bloom ‘n Grow will be hosting their 7th annual “Spring
Fever” with their first two full day event of many plant,
nature and wildlife related vendors on Saturday, March 31st
and Sunday, April 1st. Hours on Saturday will be from 9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday will be open at 11:00 a.m. until
